Marisa Krol is the co-founder of The Adorned Studios, and artist/designer behind Interstellar Love Craft Adornment. Marisa has always enjoyed working with her hands and expressing herself through a variety of artistic mediums and media. In 2009 she began studio assisting local silversmith, Sharon Jeter and instantly felt a deep connection with metal and its relationship to the wearer as adornment. Around that same time, Marisa gave birth to Interstellar Love Craft, which was a name meant to embody whatever her  journey as an artist would become. To Marisa, this name represents the nature of her being and all beings, one that fosters connection, communication, love, creativity, growth, expansion and remembering and honoring our own inner light. Over the years she has mentored many emerging jewelry designers, and taught 100’s of private, public, and group classes through The Adorned Studios, established in 2005.

Believing that we all have the power to lead the life we choose, growing slowly, intentionally, and creatively, Marisa sees the Adorned Studios as the manifestation of the next frontier of sharing her passion. Sampling from what she has learned in her 14 years of experience making and designing jewelry (and life as a whole), she hopes to offer classes that are enriching, explorative, and fun.

Brittany Rea is the multifaceted artist behind Rea Designs, established in 2016. Originally from New Jersey but currently residing in Rochester, Rea moved to New York in 2009 where she attended Pratt at Munson Williams-Proctor Art Institute and the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University, graduating in 2014 with a BFA. Rea has been a ceramics instructor to students of all ages in various art centers, has assisted numerous artists at View Art Center, K Design Studio, and Haystack Mountain School of Craft, and held the position of artist in residence at Sonoma Ceramics at Sonoma Community Center and The Adorned Studios. Now partnered in The Adorned Studios along with Marisa Krol of Interstellar Lovecraft, Rea teaches jewelry classes and continues to grow and evolve as Rea Designs.
